Painless, Sound Sleep

I have one major regret with this new bed system . . . that I did not buy it several years ago. At that time I noticed the ad in the L.A. Times and looked at the different options on the website. The fact that it was an Austrian/German product definitely resonated with me.

I cannot remember the last time I slept peacefully all through the night. I also do not remember the last time that when getting out of bed I was not bent over with back pain. Axel Bloom totally changed that starting with the very first night. And every night is the same: sleep soundly and when arising from bed I am standing up straight and without pain. I had no idea that I could expect this kind of change from a bed in such a short time frame if at all. To say that I am astonished is an understatement.

Not only is it an amazingly excellent sleep system, but when we went to the store Mr. Lee was more than generous with his time in explaining the different systems and options in great detail as well as what combination he felt would work best for us. A type of customer service you rarely find. And if anything he down sold us, not up sold. We had to request the pillows which we took home a week before the bed was installed and both adored. That alone is unusual as we could never agree on the same pillows before.

The bed installation was done with the same care and attention to detail as our original store encounter. They were exceedingly careful with all the furniture that needed to be moved and how they handled taking out the old bed in very tight quarters.

The entire experience has been unique and leaves me with a big happy grin on my face.

Great Bed Systems for Weary Travelers

Like many (international) road warriors, we appreciate a good night's sleep more than anything. John Heinritz is recovering from a career with Warner Bros. and has joined Agnes Mura in their global Executive Coaching practice... which still involves a great deal of travel. With Yong Lee s wise counsel, we acquired our first queen-sized Axel Bloom bed a couple of years ago, when Agnes had just lost her mom and was taking all her grief in the back . What a relief that was. I think these beds provide more than comfort. We ooh and aah so many times when we sink into our wonderful Berlin topped haven. It heals the soul.

When either of us has had anything from a twisted limb to surgery, the raising of the bed at both ends has been such a blessing. Agnes speaks about
it to her executive clients when they complain of poor sleep!

Recently, we have decided to leave bustling Santa Monica and Los Angeles after over 20 years of stimulating and intense living - to move to Santa Fe, NM. Anthony Hopkins says one does not move to Santa Fe, one gets promoted to Santa Fe, we found out. As part of this promotion , we visited our Axel Bloom friends again and treated ourselves to a king, composed of two separate twins, topped by one continuous high-quality topper. It went straight on to our moving truck in its original box, and valiant John managed, with Yong s telephonic help, to build it impeccably in our new pueblo-style home. The lovely beams look down on it as it rests on Saltillo tiles and looks out on our bricked patio and the Sangre de Cristo mountains. We expected a little trouble sleeping at an altitude of 7,000 feet, but our bed has cradled us perfectly and spared us the trouble of adjusting to the
unfamiliar.

Since we now live in the Land of Enchantment, our queen guest bed has already enjoyed a lot of family and friends company. And for us, as hard asit is to leave Santa Fe every time we travel for work, we know what expects
us here is worth the effort!

Outstanding Bed Selection Process!

The purchase of our mattress and bed from Axelbloom has been nothing short of fantastic on every level. The owners, Bonnie and Yong,provided us with the kind of service and attention to detail that is almost non existent in this day and age. The entire process, from purchase to delivery, was outstanding.

We turned to Axelbloom to improve our sleeping experience after years of purchasing various so-called premium mattresses based upon a
review that we read, possibly in the NY Times. When we entered the modern and stylish showroom in Westwood, we knew that the buying experience was going to be professional, fact-based, and low key. Each of the models was explained to us with plenty of time to think, feel and discuss without pressure or time constraints. We purchased the Berlin Mattress and were thoroughly satisfied after it was delivered and set up by the staff of Axelbloom. We subsequently purchased a bed after
completing a remodel. The bed and mattress reflect exacting European craftsmanship in a classic and sleek design. The mattress has truly provided us with THE BEST sleeping experience.

In fact, we were so happy with the mattress that when it came time to purchase a guest bed for our study we called Yong and Bonnie for a referral, and we so happy to learn they were expanding into that line of products. We have just purchased a custom daybed/couch from them for our guests so they too can truly have a good night sleep.

The entire process was again professional, courteous, and detail oriented from
purchase to installation.

Customized Specifically to Our Liking

First off, we are now sleeping on a fully customized Austroflex system. Already having a bad back and other aches and pains, after purchasing the bed, I fractured my back from a bad fall. I was in the middle of doing pull-ups with my arms and legs (Yes!) when suddenly the pull-up bar (spring-tensioned against the sides of the door) gave way. I fell down right on my back! I was in crutches and had a body hugging strait jacket for weeks and underwent intense medical treatment. Having this AXEL BLOOM sleep system has greatly eased my pain and suffering. It far supercedes anything else out there you might be considering.

As for the owners, husband and wife - Yong and Bonnie, they have brought back that neighborhood conscious business mind that not only sustains good business, but turns a boutique establishment into a lifestyle brand. No matter what business this remarkable couple ventures into, it will most certainly be an immense success. It has been an honor to meet such fine people who bring honor and excitement back into the world of commerce. Also, Yong is hands-on with his product. From the initial tour of each system in the showroom, to installing your purchase in your home. These are not your average proprietors, they are fine human beings. I could go on and on about my experience both business and personal with the Lee family, but let me end by saying you won't get a better sleep, and you will feel better just knowing these very special people!
